10+ Breaking Bad Recipes (party food) (2024)

Are you ready for the Breaking Bad finale? Here are over 10 Breaking Bad recipes that will be great party food during your finale viewing party.

I haven’t talked very much about my favorite television shows on my blog, but there’s been something going on every Sunday for the last couple of weeks that has me on the edge of my seat. I want to talk about it with everyone I meet and you, my readers, are no exception.

Each Sunday, I’ve been — quite willingly — freaking out. Giving myself a major case of anxiety. My pulse races, my stomach feels like it’s in my throat. All because of a TV show. A show that is so bad that it’s good. Fans of Breaking Bad will understand. If you aren’t a fan, I’m not sure you’ll understand.

Breaking Bad has been one of my top favorite shows for a few years now. David and I didn’t start watching it the first season, but we kept hearing great things about it. And not just here and there, but all the time. Luckily, it was available on Netflix DVD’s then, so we requested the first disc, watched it all that night and waited impatiently for the 2nd disc and so on (it wasn’t on Netflix streaming then). After busting through the the discs and getting all caught up, we would DVR all the new episodes and watch to find out what was going to happen this week.

We’ve even been to a couple of the Breaking Bad panels at San Diego Comic-Con, where we get to listen to the stars and the creator, Vince Gilligan, talk about the show. As fans, this is one of the coolest things to be in the same room as them. I honestly believe that everyone on that show is as big of a fan for the show as we fans are.

At first, I had this thought that I shouldn’t watch it. A story line about meth and all the misery it brings with it? The story is unthinkable. But I think that’s was also part of the reason why I wanted to watch. I felt bad for Walter White, a chemistry teacher who was diagnosed with cancer. A normal guy who wanted to put away enough money to take care of his family after he was gone.Of course, no typical guy would really do that, right? I would hope not. But that’s the part that lured me in. I had to see what would happen next. How would he get out of it? Would he get caught? Could he turn back?

It’s finally down to the last two episodes of the entire series. Many of my original questions have already been answered, but they have been replaced with all new questions. Fans are talking and speculating…everyone has an opinion on how it’s going to end. With Vince Gilligan and all the talents behind Breaking Bad, I have no doubts it will not disappoint.

In my usual way, I find a way to connect food to almost every aspect of my life. Breaking Bad is no exception. As my final farewell to a show I love so much, I’m sharing some creative recipes that the truest of Breaking Bad fans will appreciate. There are some awesome food bloggers out there who are just as big of fans of the show as I am and they came up with some recipes that I think will be great for party food during your finale viewing party. Even if you aren’t holding an actual viewing party, why not make the whole occasion even more memorable with great food?

Unlike some fans, I’m ok with the show ending. I don’t want my favorite shows to continue on endlessly, and when it’s time to say goodbye, I”m usually satisfied and ready to move on. I know that Breaking Bad will always be one of my favorite shows — you don’t forget brilliant writing and such an amazing cast (both on and off screen). So, with that, I say thank you to them all for keeping us entertained with something so terribly bad.
